Arriving in autumn 2026, the New Balance 983 is part of the wave of fresh silhouettes the Boston brand has been rolling out at a remarkable pace. Rather than reviving a single archive model, it borrows from several of New Balance's 2000s performance runners to create something entirely new, with a profile that nods to the much-loved 9060. In "Cherry Leather / Dark Night", it steps well outside the understated grey dad-shoe world and goes for shine.

The rounded upper is wrapped in cherry patent leather, its deep gloss set against dark Dark Night accents. A classic "N" logo sits on the saddle among soft, rounded overlays.
