Trail running: shoes built for the trails

Trail running grew from the urge to run away from roads, on paths, through forests and up mountains. Trail shoes stand out with a more aggressive outsole for grip, a more protective upper and often a waterproof membrane. In recent years, these technical models have also taken over the streets thanks to gorpcore, the style that blends outdoor gear with streetwear. Our trail running collection brings together shoes that feel as good on the trail as in the city, wanted by runners and sneaker fans across Europe.

Nike ACG Zegama, Ultrafly, Pegasus Trail: the Nike edit

Nike leads the edit with its ACG line, short for All Conditions Gear. It includes the ACG Zegama Trail in Summit White, Baltic Blue or Black, the Zegama Trail Gore-Tex in Linen or Light Silver, the Zegama Hike, the ACG Ultrafly Trail in Dutch Green, Black or Hyper Crimson and the ACG Pegasus Trail, also in Gore-Tex. Nike also brings the Reactx Wildhorse 10, Terra Kiger 10, Juniper Trail 2 Gore-Tex, ACG LDV, Vomero Plus Desert Camo and Zoom Vomero 5 Cave Stone.

Hoka, Saucony, On: more trail running shoes

Founded in France in 2009, Hoka made thick, lightweight midsoles mainstream: the edit features the Mafate Speed 4 Lite, Mafate Speed 2, Mafate Three2 and Speedgoat 2 in Sour Lemon or Tomato. Saucony is here with the Peregrine 15 GTX, including a Saucony x 3sixteen collaboration, and On with the Cloudsoma, Cloudultra Peak, Cloudnova Rift and Cloudtilt Remix. Gore-Tex, cushioning, sizing: choosing your trail shoe

To choose the right trail shoe, start with the terrain. Gore-Tex (GTX) versions keep out rain and mud, ideal for autumn and winter, while breathable models suit warmer days.
