Autry Windscape Low Brown Choco: 1950s surf spirit for the street

Founded in 1982 in Dallas, Texas, Autry first made its name with tennis and running shoes, before being relaunched in 2019 with a more fashion-led approach that blends American heritage with contemporary craftsmanship. With the Windscape, the brand pays tribute to the surfers of the 1950s and 60s who, on days without waves, put wheels on their boards to keep "surfing" on asphalt along the coasts of Hawaii and California.

These Autry women's trainers feature a minimal, retro-inspired design where materials and textures recall vintage surf culture. The leather upper is paired with flat cotton laces and a padded tongue with a logo label. Inside, a leather and cotton terry lining and a raised leather insole add comfort, while the rubber cupsole outsole combines flexibility and durability. The Brown/Chocolate colourway plays on warm browns ranging from caramel to chocolate.

Style the Windscape Brown Choco with straight-leg denim, chinos or linen trousers to bring a relaxed, fresh touch to a simple fit, in town or at the weekend. The flexible sole and cushioned leather insole keep them comfortable from morning to evening, and the hard-wearing build means they last season after season.

Part American heritage, part West Coast spirit, the Autry Windscape Low is an elegant alternative to classic white sneakers and a strong pick for anyone after understated style.

Available at noirfonce.eu, Europe's sneaker destination and official retailer, in sizes 36 to 40, with fast delivery across Europe and secure instalment payments. Order yours now.
