Air Jordan 6 Retro "Oreo": the speckled black-and-white classic returns

Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan 6 is the shoe Michael Jordan wore through his first championship season in 1991. Of all the colourways that have followed, the "Oreo" from March 2010 became a collector favourite thanks to its speckled black-and-white contrast, a nod to the famous cookie. Sixteen years later, it returns on 8 August 2026 as a faithful retro of the original pair.

The upper pairs a black nubuck base with premium white leather overlays across the midfoot and collar, while the black neoprene shroud around the lacing gives a snug, sock-like fit. Every signature AJ6 detail is here: the moulded lace lock, finished in speckle, that cinches the laces one-handed, and the sculpted heel tab inspired by car design, also dressed in the speckled print. The speckled midsole houses a visible Air unit in the heel and sits on an icy translucent rubber outsole.

The White/Black colourway works with almost anything. Go classic with raw denim and a hoodie, keep it monochrome with black cargos, or pull on basketball shorts in summer for a throwback to where it all started. The speckle adds texture without overpowering the fit.

Among Jordan retros, the AJ6 "Oreo" holds a special place: less obvious than the Infrared, more distinctive than most. If you want an iconic basketball silhouette with a strong design story, these trainers deserve a spot in your rotation.

The Air Jordan 6 Retro "Oreo" (CT8529-108) is available on noirfonce.eu, an official Jordan stockist since 2015, in EU sizes 36 to 49.5, subject to availability. Fast delivery across Europe, secure checkout and the option to pay in instalments.
