Launched in March 2026, the Adidas Hyperboost Edge opened a new category for the Three Stripes: the plate-free super trainer. The idea is simple. Bring the comfort and bounce of race-day foams to an everyday training shoe, without the stiffness of a carbon plate. The result is a pair of men's running shoes designed for easy runs, long runs and high-mileage weeks.

At its core sits Hyperboost Pro foam, a pelletised take on Lightstrike Pro, the compound used in Adidas's fastest racing models. With a stack of around 45 mm at the heel and 39 mm at the forefoot, for a 6 mm drop, it provides thick, protective cushioning while keeping a lively, responsive feel. At roughly 255 g, the shoe stays surprisingly light for its size.

The Primeweave upper holds the foot securely yet flexibly and lets air flow, even on the longest outings. Underfoot, a full-coverage Lighttraxion rubber outsole offers confident grip on dry or wet tarmac. The Adidas Hyperboost Edge shines brightest at relaxed paces, but it can also handle the occasional steady or tempo session.
