Adidas Handball Spezial "Legend Ivy": the indoor icon that became a terrace staple

First built in 1979 for handball players, the adidas Handball Spezial made the jump from sports halls to the terraces and never looked back. Low profile, slim shape and a gum sole: the formula has barely changed in over four decades, and the demand has never been higher.

The Legend Ivy colourway dresses the upper in deep green hairy suede with suede overlays that add depth and texture. Halo Silver 3-Stripes and details bring a subtle contrast, while classic lace-up closure keeps the fit locked in. The signature gum rubber outsole delivers everyday grip and that instantly recognisable vintage look.

The warm forest green works with raw denim, beige cargos or a vintage tracksuit, adding a controlled hit of colour to a neutral outfit, from smart-casual weekdays to weekends in the city. Roll-up trousers or cropped chinos show off the gum sole, the detail that gives the whole outfit its terrace-culture edge.

Unisex and timeless, the Handball Spezial Legend Ivy earns its spot among the essential retro adidas trainers, next to the Samba and Gazelle, for anyone after a low-key sneaker with real character and a story behind it.

Available now at noirfonce.eu, from size 36 to 46 2/3, with fast delivery across Europe and secure instalment payments.
