Vans LX Old Skool Plaid Navy: the skate classic goes tartan

Founded in California in 1966, Vans shaped skate culture before becoming a staple of streetwear wardrobes worldwide. Introduced in 1977, the Old Skool was the brand's first model to wear the famous Sidestripe, which has since become its signature. The LX line, Vans' premium offer, revisits these historic silhouettes with upgraded materials and finishes while staying true to their DNA.

This Plaid Navy/Multi colourway dresses the Old Skool in a check pattern on a navy base, shot through with multicoloured threads that give it a wintry depth. The Sidestripe cuts across the pattern, the padded collar keeps the ankle supported and the vulcanised sole with Vans' trademark Waffle tread delivers grip and flexibility. The premium build of the LX line brings extra comfort for everyday wear.

Style these unisex trainers with corduroy trousers and an overshirt, rolled raw denim and a chunky wool jumper, or cargos and a puffer jacket to take on winter. The navy check adds a preppy, retro touch without ever going over the top.

Among skate trainers, the Old Skool remains a safe bet, loved by skaters and fashion fans alike. This LX Plaid Navy version stands apart from the more common black-and-white takes and brings a distinctive texture to any rotation, for women and men alike.

Order the Vans LX Old Skool Plaid Navy on noirfonce.eu, with fast delivery across Europe and secure payment, including instalments. Find your size and give your seasonal looks a touch of tartan.
