Vans LX Old Skool 36 Fluro Lime: the 1977 Skate Icon in Pearl Black and Neon

Founded in 1966 in Anaheim, California, Vans introduced the Style 36 in 1977, later known as the Old Skool. It was the first Vans to carry the Sidestripe, the side mark that became the signature of the brand and of an entire skate culture. The Vans LX Old Skool 36 brings that founding model into the LX line, Vans' premium range, as part of the 2026 Pearlized Pack, a series built around pearlescent finishes and elevated detailing.

In this Pearlized Black / Fluro Lime version, the upper combines suede and mesh in a deep black with a pearlescent shimmer that shifts with the light. The fluoro lime Sidestripe delivers a strong, graphic contrast, finished with pearl detailing on the stripe and tongue. The padded collar and Sola Foam ADC insole make it noticeably more comfortable than a standard Old Skool, while the signature waffle outsole keeps the grip you expect.

This black and neon green Vans Old Skool is for anyone who likes their classics with a bit of nerve. With baggy jeans and a black hoodie, it keeps its skate DNA front and centre. With cargo trousers and a technical jacket, it turns more urban and current. In an all-dark outfit, the neon becomes the one bright spot that makes the whole look work.

Unisex and versatile, this premium Old Skool 36 fits a skate rotation just as well as a considered streetwear wardrobe. Shop it on noirfonce.eu, Europe's sneaker destination, with live size availability, fast delivery across Europe and secure checkout, including instalment payments. Every pair is 100% authentic and checked before it ships to you.
