Designed by Bruce Kilgore and launched in 1982 as a basketball shoe, the Air Force 1 has barely changed shape in more than four decades. The Nike Air Force 1 Squair Toe rewrites that rule. Unveiled at Paris Fashion Week, it has been called the most significant structural change the silhouette has ever had, with a name that plays on "Air" and its new square shape.
