New Balance Made in UK Allerdale Chai Tea: the English walking shoe made in Flimby

For more than four decades, the New Balance factory in Flimby, Cumbria, has carried the brand's English craftsmanship through the Made in UK range. The Allerdale is named after the district that is home to the factory. Inspired by Britain's tradition of walking and leisure shoes and by archive silhouettes from the 80s, it has become one of the most refined pieces in the collection.

In the Chai Tea colourway, the Allerdale features a tan suede upper and tongue with spiced tones, matching laces and an embroidered NB logo. Hiking-inspired D-ring eyelets and a rugged latte-brown rubber outsole nod to its outdoor roots. Inside, FuelCell foam built into the cupsole delivers a propulsive feel and lasting comfort, backed by an Ortholite insole. The label on the back of the tongue carries a woven Allerdale landscape graphic.

With its warm tones, this men's New Balance suede shoe pairs with raw denim, work trousers or a chore coat and slots naturally into an autumn wardrobe.

Part English craftsmanship, part outdoor character, the Allerdale Made in UK is made for lovers of fine materials and special New Balance pairs.

Available at noirfonce.eu, Europe's sneaker destination and official New Balance retailer, in the last sizes from 43 to 45, with fast delivery across Europe and secure instalment payments. A rare pair worth grabbing.
