He didn't just document shoes; he captured the soul of the wearer and the energy of the street. To this day, his work remains the gold standard for how sneakers should be styled, positioned, and shot.
We had the privilege of meeting French years ago. The passion and profound knowledge he carried were immediate. He was a storyteller and a historian who could see a narrative in every stitch. That meeting left a lasting mark on us, his warmth and his willingness to share his craft made him a true pillar of the culture.
